Joy–SSSC #290

SSSC290_2015oct11

Hi, everyone! Thanks for joining me for this week’s Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! Another classic sketch from Karen that can be taken in so many directions!

SSSC290
I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, stamped Crosshatch Background with Versamark, and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder. Next up is a panel of Sweet Tooth card stock stamped with Wild Cherry dye ink and the also new Candy Stripes Background Builder, then popped up on foam tape with some baker’s twine tied around.

Then I cut some Ranger watercolor paper with Radial Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics and did a watercolor wash with Cornflower dye ink and a medium water brush. I stamped the sentiment from Hand Lettered Holiday with Black Licorice hybrid ink and then the little holly sprig with Wild Cherry dye ink and Black Licorice hybrid ink, colored the leaves with Zig Clean Color Brush Markers and popped it up on foam, as well. I finished off with some enamel dots.

Be sure to check out what the other designers have for you at the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge blog—hope to see you playing along! Thanks so much for stopping by—see you soon!
