If you’ve been around my blog very much you know I love to create a scene—in a good way ;-) Today I have a scene for you using Home Sweet Home Die-namics and No Place Like Home stamp set. I love this little house set so, so much! I’m loving creating with it and can’t wait to use it in the Fall! But for now, let’s do a warmer season. I cut a piece of Sweet Tooth card stock with Inside & Out Stitched Oval STAX Die-namics and dry embossed with the new Radiating Rays Stencil for my card front. I embossed another piece the same way, added Snow Drifts Die-namics cut from Sour Apple card stock and adhered it under the card front with foam mounting tape, lining up the rays. Next I added the sentiment, stamped with Versamark on Black Licorice card stock and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder and popped it up on the card front.

Next I cut out my house and landscaping and added them to the scene—adhering with foam mounting tape for dimension. The roof was stamped with Brick Red dye ink and Moroccan Lattice background for a tiled look and the other colors of card stock are listed below.

My next card is totally different!

I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base and stamped Romantic Script Background on it with Black Licorice dye ink. Then I stamped the sentiment from No Place Like Home on another piece of Sweet Tooth card stock with Black Licorice dye ink and Wild Cherry dye ink and popped it up on the base with foam mounting tape.

Next I created my key, cut from Brushed Silver card stock with some Stone Gray card stock layers for strength, and the tag, cut with Stitched Tiny Tags 2 Die-namics, and attached them with a real key ring. The tag was cut from Stone Gray card stock, has a Wild Cherry card stock heart cut with Tag Builder Blueprints 6 Die-namics, and sports Graphic Grid Paper Pack as an accent.

And that’s it for Day One of
MFT’s March Release Countdown! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tonight for New Product Release!

  8. Barbara, these are lovely, sweet cards. I love the rays in the sky and the lit windows in the house. The sentiment is perfect. The second card is clean but not simple with the real key ring and the key tag decorated with patterned paper and red heart. Again, the perfect sentiment. Thanks for sharing.
