Hello There–MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #296

MFTWSC296_2016sep1

Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

I love this sketch!!! There are so many ways it can be interpreted, so I’m sure I’ll be revisiting it. For this card I’m using the fabulous Hello There Die-namics for my focal point. The two side elements are cut from Rainbow Stripes Paper Pack, the center element is Sweet Tooth card stock on which I spread molding paste through Grid Stencil. After that dried, I sponged Lush Lagoon dye ink (I LOVE that color!!!) on Sweet Tooth card stock in an ombre pattern, cut the die out, and popped it up on foam mounting tape on top of some rolled up silver thread.

Next I added the beginning of the sentiment from Label Maker Sentiments stamped with Black Licorice dye ink. To finish off, I added some silver glitter enamel dots.

Thanks for stopping by! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the
MFT Challenge Blog. You have the chance to win a $20 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week! See you soon!

  1. Fantastic contemporary and clean design - I love it! The grid stencil looks superb as a background and all the elements pull together so well. Thanks for the inspiration! Esther
