When It Rains, Look for Rainbows–MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #266

MFTWSC266_2016feb4

Hello, all, thanks for joining me for this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! This week’s sketch is very simple so the sky’s the limit!

MFT_WSC_266
I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then cut some Ranger Watercolor paper with Blueprints 20 Die-namics, did a watercolor wash with Peerless Watercolors, and stenciled on some transparent embossing paste through Raindrops Stencil. After it dried I popped it up on foam mounting tape, added a Sunny Skies Die-namics, cut from Sunshine card stock and Puffy Clouds Die-namics, cut from Cement Gray card stock and popped them up on foam as well.

Next I cut Black Licorice card stock with Blueprints 20 Die-namics and stamped the sentiment from Rainbow of Happiness with Versamark and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder. Then, from Sweet Tooth card stock I cut the word “Rainbows” from Color the Rainbow Die-namics and colored it in a rainbow pattern with Copic markers. I added it to the sentiment strip, popped that up on foam, and it was done!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope to see you playing along with this week’s
MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! See you soon!
