Just Poppin’ By to Say–C4C #303

Hey, there, everyone! Welcome to this week’s Crazy 4 Challenges! Raquel is our host this month and this week she’s got a fun challenge for us.

Grandparents Day! You can call them Grandma, Grandpa,  Grammy, Grampy, Nana, or Popop. No matter what you call them, they’re special. So let’s make a card for that someone special that is older than you.

Sooo, I decided to make a birthday card for a dear friend who is just a couple of years older than I am. I started off with a Grout Gray card stock base. Then, on a piece of Ranger watercolor paper, I did some smooshed inking with Orange Zest dye ink, Lush Lagoon dye ink, and Blu Raspberry dye ink, stamped the sentiments from LLD Soda Pop with Steel Gray dye ink, tied around some baker’s twine, and popped it up on the base with foam mounting tape.

Then I watercolored three LLD Soda Pop Bottles Die-namics with the same colors. The labels were cut from Sweet Tooth card stock and stamped with images from LLD Soda Pop, then the bottles were popped up on foam and it was done!

And that's it! Be sure to check out what the rest of the design team has for you, including our September Guest Designer, Fran Sabad!

THEN, you know what to do--we'd love to have you come along and play with us. Just do your thing with the challenge and link it to Mr. Linky on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. Please link directly to your project. And, if you upload to a public gallery, please use the key word C4C303.

Thanks so much for stopping by today—see you soon!
