Birthday Wishes–Deconstructed Sketch Sponsored by MFT

Hi, all, today I have a card using the Deconstructed Sketch for this week. MFT is sponsoring the sketch so I just had to play along—and it’s a fun sketch, so more reason to play, right?

I started with a Kraft card stock base, then trimmed a piece of Primitive White card stock following the sketch for the next layer. With Diagonal Stripes Stencil, I added some embossing paste to this to add some texture and popped it up on foam. Then, on a piece of Steel Gray card stock, I stamped the sentiment from Birthday Chalkboard Greetings with Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I popped that up on foam as well, then added a Mix & Match Banners Die-namics flag, cut from Kraft card stock. Next I cut some Pretty Posies Die-namics from Orange Fizz card stock and Razzle Berry card stock that had been stamped with Happy Birthday Background using Steel Gray ink. The centers are Steel Gray buttons tied with hemp cord, and the leaves are from MPD Rose Bouquet Die-namics, cut from Fuse Green card stock stamped with LJD Darling Dots and Whip Cream Pigment Ink.

Another sentiment from Birthday Chalkboard Greetings was stamped on the inside with Steel Gray ink.
