Put a Bird on It–Catered Crop Recipe Swap

CCC_bird_2014apr1

Hi, all! Today I have a card for the latest Catered Crop Recipe Swap Challenge. This challenge is to use a bird on your card or project—be sure to check out the Catered Crop blog for all the details.

I started with a Black Licorice card stock base, then added a Kraft card stock layer, popped up on foam. Onto that I adhered a sheet of Primitive White card stock stamped with Sheet Music Background and Black Licorice ink. Then I cut my Centerpieces Framed Lovebirds Die-namics from Kraft card stock and trimmed around the edges. I backed it with Sno Cone card stock popped it up on foam and added Sour Apple leaves. I cut the little birds from Sweet Tooth card stock and colored them with Copic markers before adding them. The sentiment is from DC Just My Type and was stamped on Primitive White card stock with Black Licorice ink and popped up on foam, too.

The inside has another sentiment from DC Just My Type.
