Happy Birthday–CTD #240

CTD240_2013may1

Hi, everyone, it’s
Color Throwdown time! Today the uber talented Broni has a gorgeous color combo for us.

swatch 240
This is gorgeous color combo but I had a hard time with it, I must confess. I could fine no patterned paper to work, LOL, so I had to go to plan “B”.

I ended up stamping “Happy Birthday”, from DC Vintage Cameo Sentiments, in each color on Sweet Tooth card stock, then added a Die-namics Leaf-Filled Flourish die cut and a Die-namics Mini Hybrid Heirloom Rose. I embossed a Die-namics Faux Crochet Border across the bottom then popped the panel up on foam. A few clear gems finished it off.

The sentiment on the inside is from Clearly Sentimental About Birthdays.

And that’s it from me! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD240 so we can see your beauty all in one place. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week, including our May Guest Designer, Audrey Hiltke.
