What's Cookin'? MFT's November Card Kit Release!

Hello and welcome to the release of What's Cookin'?, MFT's November Card Kit. This kit is SO much fun to play with so b
e sure to stop by the MFT Blog for ALL the details! You are going to want it, trust me!

I actually used ALL the product in the kit for this card!! I just couldn't stop! My background is, again, Floor to Ceiling Patterned Paper Pad, covering my entire card base. Once that was done I started die cutting the large items like the stove and cabinets, assembled them, stamped the sentiment, and popped the components up on foam for dimension. Then I decided what colors my accessories were going to be and went to town--I have actually seen a microwave that color at Lowe's, LOL and that was what inspired my color choices! Then it was just a matter of adding the accessories to the scene and it was done!

And that’s it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for Day Three of MFT's November Release Countdown!

Jenoblade Spotlight

Hello and welcome a special October Jenoblade Release Spotlight post! We have some stinkin' adorable products for you today so be sure and stop by the MFT Blog for all the details and more inspiration, and then shop from the MFT Online Boutique!

Today I'm using JB Xmas Selfies Stamp Set along with previously released Polaroid Shaker Frame Die-namics, Essential Stitched Sentiment Strips Die-namics, and Christmas Garnish Die-namics. Patterned Paper is from the Feeling Festive Paper Pad.

The image was stamped on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, trimmed out, and adhered to the back of Polaroid Shaker Frame with foam tape. I used paper from Feeling Festive Paper Pad which I trimmed with Torn Paper Edges Die-namics to cut the wonky panels, whitch were adhered directly to a Smooth White card stock base or popped up on foam tape.

I tied some red and white baker's twine around the top one, added the framed "selfie" and finished off with holly cut from Christmas Garnish Die-namics.

And that’s it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you soon!

Jenoblade Release

Hello and welcome a special October Jenoblade release! We have some stinkin' adorable products for you today so be sure and stop by the MFT Blog for all the details and more inspiration, and then shop from the MFT Online Boutique!

I'm using JB Treehouse Hugs Stamp Set and Coordinating Die-namics along with Fun Fall Color Blends Paper Pad and JB Treetop Die-namics. Am I the only one who sees that treetop doing double duty as clouds? I love it! For my background, I was inspired by Fun Fall Color Blend Paper Pad and echoed it using Peacock Feathers, Carved Pumpkin, and Fossilized Amber Distress Inks on Strathmore Bristol Smooth card stock, spattered it with some clean water, and adhered it with foam, after applying a strip of the paper down the side of a Smooth White card stock base.

The images were stamped on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored with Copic markers.

Once that was done, I popped the images up on the card front with foam tape, added the "clouds" and the sentiment, heat embossed on Black Licorice card stock cut with Essential Sentiment Strips Die-namics.

And that’s it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for the Jenoblade Spotlight Feature!

Batten Down the Hatches!!

Hello! I'm back today with another Sassy Pants Stamps card for you! Not quite as risque' as last week's but still cheeky, fun, and more than a little suggestive ;-) Today I'm using Shiver My Timbers Stamp Set and Coordinating die

I did a watercolor wash on Ranger watercolor paper with Peerless Watercolors for the "sea", spattered some clean water, and then stamped the sentiment with hybrid ink before popping it up on foam tape.

The sky was stenciled with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and I hand drew the seagulls with a black Copic Multiliner pen. The ship image was stamped on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut with the coordinating die, and colored with Copic markers. To finish off I popped the ship up on an action wobble spring that's sure to bring a smile to the recipient's face.

And that's it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you soon!
